Marsaxlokk FC have confirmed the signing of experienced Spanish goalkeeper Pablo Sánchez ahead of the new season. The 29 year-old shot-stopper brings a wealth of experience in Maltese football, having previously played for both Ħamrun Spartans and Hibernians.
Sánchez first arrived in Malta in the 2020/21 season, signing for Ħamrun Spartans. He made an immediate impact, helping the club secure the Maltese Premier League title in his debut campaign and again in the 2022/23 season. Last year, he joined Hibernians, where he added another trophy to his collection, lifting the Meridianbet FA Trophy.
Known for his calm presence and reliable performances between the posts, Sánchez is expected to add quality and leadership to Marsaxlokk’s squad as the club prepares for a new set of challenges in the upcoming season.
