At 21:00 tonight at the Tony Bezzina Stadium, Naxxar Lions and Tarxien Rainbows go head-to-head, with both teams still looking for their first win in the YoHealth Malta Premier after three matches.
Naxxar are coming off a 1-1 draw with Żabbar St. Patrick, a close and evenly matched game. George Vella’s side will be aiming to take all three points this time, hoping to climb off the bottom of the table and show signs of progress.
Tarxien, on the other hand, have put in some good performances, but good football alone doesn’t earn points. After facing tough opponents like Ħamrun, Floriana, and Sliema Wanderers, this could be their best chance yet to get a result, but they’ll need to work hard for it.
The last time these two teams met was in the 2017/18 season, when Tarxien won 5-2.
