Floriana FC have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of Mustapha Jah, a promising young striker from Gambia. The 21-year-old centre-forward joins the Maltese club after a spell in Romania with CFR Cluj II.
Jah brings a strong physical presence up front and is known for his aerial ability, movement in the box, and clinical finishing with his right foot.
He began his professional career at Real de Banjul, one of Gambia’s top clubs. In March 2022, he made the move to Europe, joining the reserve side of Romanian giants CFR Cluj.
His talent soon earned him a loan spell with Chindia Târgoviște in Romania’s second division for the 2023/24 season, where he gained valuable first-team experience before returning to CFR Cluj II.

Although still early in his career, Jah has shown great potential and is expected to add pace, power, and goal-scoring threat to Floriana’s frontline.
