Sports director of Bayern Munich, Hasan Salihamidzic, spoke about the reasons why Erling Haaland did not sign for the club from Munich in this transfer window.
“It’s no secret that we negotiated. In the end, it didn’t work out for various reasons. I don’t want to blame the player. Haaland chose the option that, in his opinion, was optimal for him,” Hasan Salihamidzic told Bild.
The Norwegian striker moved from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City this summer, and the English club paid 60 million euros for his transfer.
