Rangnick: If we play like now, we don't deserve the Champions League

After the game shown by his players in the match against Everton, Ralph Rangnick, the head coach of Manchester United, said that they don’t deserve to play in the Champions League.

United lost away to Everton with 0:1 and are currently in 7th place in the table with 51 points.

“If we play like now, then we don’t deserve it. Players should want to play in international competitions, if possible in the Champions League. “If you want to qualify for Europe, then you should score a goal in 95 minutes in games like this,” said Rangnick.

“With all due respect to Everton, as they have a good team, but if you don’t score a goal against a team that has conceded three goals from Burnley, you can’t expect to get anything out of the game. We controlled the game for the first 25 minutes, and we didn’t manage to use that time to make an advantage. You could feel Everton falling apart after that result against Burnley. “Logically, they were not full of self-confidence, but we did not manage to use that,” said Rangnick.
