Rafael Leao on the offer from Saudi Arabia: The Champions League is worth more than a salary of 10 million

Saudi Arabia is a mecca for all football stars from Europe. Lucrative offers, multi-million dollar contracts also attracted the attention of younger football players, so some of them decided to move to the Arabian desert in their prime. However, this is not the case with Rafael Leao.

The Portuguese refused to be among them, because he believes that he did not achieve his goals and dreams in Europe. By the way, he recently extended his contract with Milan until 2028.

“Offer from Saudi Arabia? For me, the Champions League is worth more than a salary of 10 million euros. I still haven’t met my goals to agree to go to that league. I am focused and I want to do great things in Milan. That’s why I signed a new contract a few months ago”, said Leao.

In Serie A, Milan follows Inter in the fight for the title, while in the Champions League, it is in the “death” group, which also includes PSG, Newcastle and Borussia Dortmund.

Leao played six matches for the Rossoneri this season, scoring three goals and registering two assists.
