Argentine manager Mauricio Pochettino could work again in the English Premier League if Aston Villa decides to replace Steven Gerrard.
The Birmingham club has only won two of their first ten games in the Championship and are just one point ahead of the nearest team from the relegation zone, Southampton.
The London Telegraph writes that the leaders of Aston Villa have decided that the next two Premier League games will be decisive for the fate of the current manager.
Steven Gerrard and his team first visit Fulham in London on Thursday, and three days later they will play against Brentford at Villa Park.
The club hopes that these matches will be able to elevate the team, and if they fail to do so, there will be a change on the Aston Villa bench.
Mauricio Pochettino has been free since parting ways with Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season.
