Newcastle owner changes jersey! The fans are furious

The owner of the Newcastle football club, Mohammed bin Salman, has decided that from next season, the players will wear green and white jerseys as guests, which are reminiscent of the jerseys of the Saudi Arabian national team.

The team’s badge will also be changed, as instead of black and white there will be green and white on that jersey, and with white background details on the collar, sleeves will be green, as well as the name and number of players.

The reason for this is that Saudi owners want to improve sales in their rich country.

Such a move by the club’s leaders will certainly bring big financial gains due to the sale of jerseys in Saudi Arabia, but the Newcastle fans are disappointed.

Although the fans were very happy with the arrival of the new owners, they do not support their move, and they estimate that the fact that the club is owned by the Saudis does not mean that it should look like them.
