Manchester City unveiled a statue of Sergio Aguero in front of the Etihad

Manchester City football club unveiled a statue of club legend Sergio Aguero, on the tenth anniversary of the famous goal when City won the third Premier League title in its history with a victory over QPR.

Aguero scored the goal for the title in stoppage time, and “93:20” became a historic moment for Manchester City.

Mario Balotelli assisted for 3:2.

In addition to the Argentine, Vincent Company and David Silva also have a statue.

The statue was placed in front of the east side of the stadium, and it was made of 1000 pieces of galvanized steel.

During the night, Aguero’s statue, just like Company’s and Silva’s, will be illuminated in blue.

The Argentine played 390 matches for Man City in which he scored 260 goals and recorded 73 assists.

He won as many as five Premier League titles, two FA Cups, six League Cups, three Community Shields, and in the 2020/21 season he was the Champions League runner-up.
