For today’s Meridianbet FA Trophy Grand Final between Birkirkara and Hibernians, the Malta FA has released a special digital match programme to mark the occasion. This final brings the 2024/25 domestic season to a close and marks the 85th edition of one of the most prestigious local football competitions.
The digital publication includes team profiles, coach interviews, photos, and other features ahead of this much-anticipated clash. For many Maltese football fans, such match programmes form part of a wider collection of memories and stories that document the history of football on the island.
The final is considered the second biggest competition in Maltese football and also ranks among the oldest football tournaments in international football.
