There were reports circulating that Karim Benzema might be joining Manchester United on loan. Manchester United’s coach, Erik Ten Hag, expressed his desire to have Benzema join the team, stating:
“Benzema is the kind of player any manager would want in their squad. From what I can gather, negotiations are underway, and it seems we are on the verge of securing his services. We understand he had options back at Real, where he spent many years, and also at Lyon, where he began his career. However, we are confident that he is keen on testing himself in the Premier League, an arena he hasn’t ventured into before.”
Karim has been with Al Ittihad since the summer, but his stint hasn’t been smooth as he found himself in conflict with the coaching staff right away. Recent reports suggested he faced suspension for failing to attend training, making a return to one of the European clubs inevitable.
