Malta U16 coach Piero Panzanaro has announced a 20-player squad for the upcoming UEFA U16 Development Tournament, which will take place next week.
The tournament will be held at the Centenary Stadium in Ta’ Qali and will feature Gibraltar, the Faroe Islands, and Armenia.
Malta’s first match will be against Armenia on Monday 24th February at 13:30, followed by a game against Gibraltar on Wednesday 26th February at 10:00. Malta’s final match will be against the Faroe Islands on Saturday 1st March, with a 13:30 kick-off.
UEFA Development Tournaments focus more on player development than on competition, providing national teams with the opportunity to give young players international experience.
