Mosta FC’s rising goalkeeper, Jayden Farrugia, has made Maltese football history by setting two new national records, marking an exceptional chapter in his young career.
At just 17 years of age, Farrugia has become the youngest player ever to feature in seven high-level competitions within a single season. His participation extended across both club and national duties, including the U17 Section A, U17 Knock-Out, Minors Section A, Minors Knock-Out, the 360 Malta Premier League, the Meridianbet FA Trophy, and the UEFA U17 European Qualifiers.

In addition to this achievement, Farrugia also set a second record by becoming the youngest player to play in 48 official matches across top-level competitions during one season. This milestone is a clear testament to his consistency, physical endurance, and the trust placed in him by coaching staff at both club and national level.
These accomplishments highlight Farrugia’s exceptional potential and commitment to the game. They also represent a proud moment for Mosta FC, which continues to invest in youth development and nurture talent from within.
