Klopp: We hope to play the game and go home peacefully

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp believes that the match of the third round of the Premier League between his team and United will still take place, regardless of the announced protests.

The match between these two teams is scheduled for today at 9 pm, and Manchester United fans have announced protests during the match.

Namely, the fans are not satisfied with the current situation in the club and the Glazer family, which leads the famous English team.

“I hope it won’t happen, but if it does – I think we need to get points. We have nothing to do with that situation in their club, it is Manchester United fans who want the match to be canceled. “We can’t just postpone the game and fit it into a very busy schedule,” Klopp said.

In the event that the game is postponed, it would not be the first time, since last year the duel between Manchester United and Liverpool was postponed because the fans of the “red devils” fought with the police.

“We hope to play the game and go home peacefully. I have no idea what could happen, but in a situation like this the injured team should get points since it has nothing to do with it. We got ready for the match,” Klopp added.
