The agent of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, Mark Kosicke, denied speculations about his resignation and stated that the German is happy at the Anfield club.
Liverpool had a bad start to the season and won only 16 points from 12 matches in the English Premier League, which led to the dissatisfaction of the fans, and there were speculations about the dissatisfaction of the coach himself, who is thinking of resigning.
However, his manager denied all this in a statement for Sky Germany.
“I can assure you that Jurgen Klopp has no intention of resigning as manager of Liverpool. The fact that problems could arise this season was taken into account by the owner before the start of the season,” says Klopp’s agent.
Kosicke says that Klopp still likes to work in the current environment and that he has support.
“Jurgen enjoys the support of the people in the administration and is in constant contact with them. He loves the club, the fans and the players and is determined to continue and make a successful transition at Liverpool. He did not extend the contract until 2026 for nothing,” said Kosicke.
