HAALAND ON THE TRIPLE CROWN: I hope dreams come true

The players of Manchester City are having a season to remember, and as it comes to an end, they have the opportunity to end it with the triple crown. Erling Haaland, the top scorer in the Premier League and Champions League this season, spoke to the media before the game against United.

After defending the title in the Premier League, City took revenge on Real Madrid for the elimination from last season, so Pep Guardiola’s team is on the verge of winning the Champions League this season.

Haaland is the top scorer in the Champions League this season with 12 goals.

Apart from the two most important trophies, the triple crown could be completed if the Citizens defeat their city rival in the FA Cup final tomorrow.

“That’s why they brought me, of course, to win it; we don’t have to hide it. That would mean everything. I will do everything possible to try to make it happen. That is my biggest dream, and I hope dreams come true. But it won’t be easy; we are playing two finals against two good teams who will do everything they can to ruin it for us. They will be motivated, they will be ready, and we have to play our best, because if we play our best football, we have a good chance to do it”, said Haaland.

Haaland strengthened the team from Borussia Dortmund last season, and in his first season for the Citizens, he scored 52 goals in all competitions and won the award for the best young player and the best player of the Premier League.

It is the first time that one football player has received both awards in one season.

“That’s nice; it means I did something right. My life has changed; now I can no longer live normally. This is my life now; I can’t complain. I try to enjoy every moment, and that’s how it is. I am 196 centimeters tall with long blonde hair, and wherever I go, people will recognize me. This is my life now; what can I do?” said the Norwegian.

In the end, he expressed his expectations before tomorrow’s final at “Wembley”, which is on the program at 4:00 p.m.

“It will not be easy. We have to play our game. We have to not think too much, but concentrate on ourselves and play the game we should play. We’ll see in the end; it’s 90 minutes of football, and those who are the best in those games can win,” concluded Haaland.
