Lionel Messi has ended his infamous episode at PSG and will borrow the shirt of another club this summer.
While everyone is waiting to find out the next destination of one of the best footballers of all time, he took to social media and sent a short message to the fans of the French champions.
“I am happy that I had the opportunity to play for PSG. I really enjoyed playing on this team, with such good players. I want to thank the club for the wonderful experience in Paris,” said Messi.
After a stormy parting with Barcelona, Messi arrived at PSG as a free agent in 2021, With the Parisian club, he won two Ligue 1 titles as well as the French Cup, but he failed to realize his biggest dream of bringing the Champions League trophy to the Parc des Princes.
Barcelona is fighting hard for Messi’s signature, but the Argentinian also has several rich offers from Saudi Arabia, as well as the MLS league.
