The strikers of City and the managers of Arsenal, Haaland and Arteta, received awards for the best player and manager for the month of August in the Premier League.
Haaland came to the blue part of Manchester from Dortmund and, as usual, continued where he left off. Probably the best goalscorer of today for the “citizens”, he played six games in the league and scored as many as ten goals with one assist. Of course, he is at the top when it comes to the race for the’stopping boot’ in the English championship. Therefore, it is not surprising that he received the award for the best player of the month.
Mikel Arteta led Arsenal to a perfect start to the season, winning all five games.The impression was slightly spoiled by United’s defeat at Old Trafford when it was 3:1 for the hosts, but they ended the month of August at the top of the table with a point advantage over Haaland’s Manchester City.
Bringing in Jesus appears to have been a complete success, and many football experts believe that the Arsenal team can compete, if not win, the title.
