Xewkija Tigers kicked off their league campaign in impressive fashion, defeating Oratory Youth with a commanding score of 5-0.
The Tigers took an early lead just 9 minutes into the match with a goal from Claudio Daniel Frances, followed by Rodney Buttigieg doubling the score just two minutes later.
Gennaro Hili then netted the third goal for Jesmond Zammit’s team, and Stefan Cassar added a fourth, bringing the first half to a close at 4-0.
Xewkija sealed their victory with a fifth goal in the 83rd minute, courtesy of Brian Alejandro Parado.
