Referee: Daniel Casha
Xewkija Tigers advanced to the BOV GFA Cup semi-finals with an emphatic 4–1 win over Ghajnsielem in the day’s second quarterfinal.
The Tigers made a flying start, taking a two-goal lead within the opening 15 minutes through Marcelo Barbosa (10’) and Abou Toure (13’). Barbosa struck again shortly after the restart (47’) before Toure added his second three minutes later to make it 4–0. Ghajnsielem reduced the deficit in the 57th minute when Ian Xuereb turned the ball into his own net, but their hopes of a comeback were dashed when Naim Ibrahim Belhadj was sent off in the 86th minute.
