Former Borussia Dortmund player Rafael Guerrero is a new player for Bayern Munich, the Bavarian club announced.
The Portuguese left-back comes as a free agent, and has signed a contract with the club until 2026.
On June 11, Bayern president Herbert Heiner announced the arrival of the 29-year-old footballer, after the club brought in defensive midfielder Konard Leimer as the first reinforcement in the summer transfer window.
Guerrero played the previous seven seasons for the club from Dortmund, where he was brought by the current coach of the Bavarians, Thomas Tuchel.
“When the invitation came from Bayern, I quickly made a decision. It is an honor to play for this great club and I have a lot of respect for Tuchel from our time together in Dortmund”. Guerrero said.
During his career, he played for the French clubs Caen and Lorient, and in 2016 he won the title at the European Championship with the Portuguese national team.
