After being declared the best young footballer of the World Cup in Qatar, Enzo Fernandez reached an agreement with Liverpool and will soon become a new member of the club from “Anfield”, the British media reported.
British media report that Benfica and Liverpool have agreed that the young Argentinian footballer will stay on loan until the end of the season at the club from Lisbon, and he will sign a contract with Liverpool in the summer of next year.
All three parties reached a verbal agreement, and the contract should be officially signed during January next year.
Fernandez arrived in Benfica in June of this year from River Plate, and for the Lisbon club he played 24 matches and scored three goals.
