Executive Board endorses UEFA solidarity payments distribution

The Malta FA Executive Board has today approved the distribution of UEFA Solidarity Payments for season 2022/23, which proceeds emanate from UEFA Club competitions and are earmarked for use in grassroots and youth development. 

In today’s meeting, the Board approved the distribution model of these UEFA Solidarity Payments, which will amount to €1.08 million.

In total 67% of the funds will be distributed between the fourteen Premier League clubs based on different criteria.

The remainder will be allocated towards other member clubs and member associations at the level of amateur, youth, and grassroots football, including members of the Gozo FA.
