Tottenham kicked off their Premier League season with a strong 3-0 win over Burnley in their first match under new manager Thomas Frank.
Fresh from their Europa League triumph in May, Spurs looked sharp from the start. Mohammed Kudus set up Richarlison for two well-taken goals, the second a brilliant volley. Brennan Johnson added a third late on to seal the result.
Burnley, now managed by Scott Parker, struggled early but had a few chances to get back into the game. They were frustrated just before half-time when a possible penalty was waved away after Jaidon Anthony was brought down in the box.
In the end, Spurs were too strong and made it five straight wins in their opening home league games. Burnley, meanwhile, suffered their fourth Premier League opening-day defeat in a row.
