Omar Marmoush scored a first-half hat-trick to help Manchester City beat Newcastle United 4-0 in the Premier League, extending their impressive home record to 16 straight wins.
After a disappointing loss to Real Madrid midweek, Pep Guardiola’s team came out strong, with Marmoush opening the scoring in the 19th minute. He expertly lobbed the ball over goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka for his first goal in City colours, following a long pass from Ederson.
City quickly doubled their lead as Marmoush scored again just five minutes later with a low finish after good play from İlkay Gündoğan. They didn’t stop there; before halftime, Marmoush completed his hat-trick with a powerful shot into the corner, set up by Savinho.

In the second half, City continued to dominate. Dúbravka made a couple of key saves, but Newcastle struggled to find any clear chances. City sealed the win with six minutes left when substitute James McAtee volleyed in from a header by Erling Haaland.
This was City’s first clean sheet in seven games, moving them up to fourth in the Premier League, while Newcastle suffered their third loss in four matches, hurting their chances for a top-four finish.
