The Palmeiras players defeated Flamengo in the Copa Libertadores final and defended the trophy, but the finish of the match was marked by the worst simulation ever.
Striker Deyverson,who entered the game in the 95th minute and scored the winning goal, was in the center of attention because of something completely different, and that is a simulation that went around the world and became “viral on social networks.”
The video shows the main referee of the match – Nestor Pitana touching the attacker on the back, and then the football player falls as if cut down, thinking that he was touched by one of the opposing players.
Immediately after that, the referee bent down and explained to the Palmeiras football player that he had touched him and that there was no need for him to do anything.
Deyverson just got up and continued the game, as if nothing had happened. While the Flamengo players demanded a punishment for him.
With goals from Veiga and Deyverson, Palmeiras celebrated with a score of 2: 1 against Flamengo. For them, the only goal was scored by Barbosa.
