Crystal Palace secured a brilliant 5-1 away victory over Leeds United in the 30th round of the Premier League.
Despite conceding the first goal to Patrick Bamford in the 21st minute, Palace’s players managed to turn the game around and dominate the rest of the match.
Thanks to the goals from Mark Guehi, Jordan Ayew (twice), Eberechi Eze, and Odsonne Edouard, Crystal Palace registered their eighth win of the season and their second win in a row, moving up to 12th place in the league table with 33 points.
The victory was largely attributed to the 75-year-old Roy Hodgson, who has been working wonders as Palace’s manager. With his tactical genius, Hodgson has transformed the team’s fortunes and is leading them to a successful season.
Crystal Palace will be visiting Southampton in the next round of the Premier League, while Leeds will be welcoming Liverpool.
