In a thrilling match of the 27th round of the Bundesliga, Borussia Mönchengladbach took down Wolfsburg with a convincing 2:0 victory at home.
Nathan Ngoumou opened the scoring in the 34th minute with an assist from Marcus Thuram. Thuram then sealed the win for Borussia with a goal of his own in the 63rd minute.
Despite Omar Marmoush scoring for Wolfsburg in the 10th minute, the goal was disallowed after a VAR review showed he was offside. The defeat marks Wolfsburg’s eighth of the season and drops them to ninth in the table with 39 points, while Mönchengladbach jumps to 10th with 35 points.
In other Bundesliga matches, Bochum will face Stuttgart and Hoffenheim will take on Schalke.
