Chelsea Co-Owner's Controversial Dressing Room Visits Spark Player Backlash

Chelsea Football Club’s co-owner Todd Boehly has caused quite a stir after his recent dressing room visits to the team’s players.

Reports suggest that Boehly spent about an hour in the dressing room following Chelsea’s disappointing 2-1 loss to Brighton and Hove Albion.

Although goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga sees no problem with Boehly’s visits, it seems that one senior player, who was signed within the last year, was singled out by Boehly and is now said to be ‘disillusioned’ with the situation at the club.

Despite Gary Lineker’s mocking of Boehly’s attempts at a pep talk, Chelsea caretaker manager Frank Lampard has expressed his comfort with Boehly’s routine speeches to the team. Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti also defended Boehly’s visits, saying that “the owner has the right to know what the decisions of the manager are.”

As Chelsea continues to struggle this season, sitting in 11th place in the Premier League, fans and players alike are hoping for a turnaround in their fortunes. Will Boehly’s visits help motivate the team, or will they cause further disruptions? Only time will tell.
