Barcelona went to the other side of the world to honor the legend

Spanish footballer Andres Iniesta said goodbye to his old friends in Barcelona with a friendly match in Tokyo where he played for his club Vissel Kobe.

Barcelona won with goals from Franck Kessiéi n the 16th minute and Eric Garcia in the 19th minute.

Iniesta became famous playing for the Spanish club, where he won 32 trophies in 22 years. He played 674 games and scored 57 goals.

The Spanish champions arrived in Japan immediately after their last league game on Sunday night and will return on a charter flight in the evening.

In 2018, Iniesta moved from the Catalan club to Vissel Kobe, with whom he won the Cup in 2019 and the Super Cup of Japan a year later. He played 133 games for the Japanese club and scored 26 goals.

The 39-year-old footballer will leave Vissel Kobe on July 1, as he is dissatisfied with the number of minutes he has played. He did not specify where he will continue his career.
