The Uruguayan national team player and member of Barcelona, Ronald Araujo, underwent a successful operation in Finland, the media reports.
Twenty-three-year-old Uruguayan Ronald Araujo was injured while playing for the national team in a friendly match against Iran, already in the 4th minute of the match.
The injury is of a more serious nature because the right adductor tendons were stretched, which required surgery. Because of this, he will also miss the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.
He was operated on this morning under the supervision of Dr. Lasse Lempainen in the Finnish hospital in the city of Turku. The operation was successful, and now a slightly longer recovery follows.
