Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti could soon leave the “Royal Club” and become the coach of the Brazilian national team, Spanish media reported.
Brazil is currently without a coach since Tite resigned last December after the elimination from Croatia in the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Qatar.
The president of the Football Association of Brazil, Ednaldo Rodrigues, will arrive in Madrid in the coming days, in order to try to persuade the Italian expert to take over the national team.
Rodrigues will first talk with Real president Florentino Perez, and then with Ancelotti.
The Spanish media claim that Rodrigues will try to hire Jose Mourinho or Jorge Jesus if negotiations with the Italian expert fail.
In his career, Ancelotti managed Reggiana, Parma, Juventus, Milan, Chelsea, PSG, Bayern, Napoli, Everton and Real, and from 1992 to 1995 he was an assistant coach in the Italian national team.
