FIFA has announced the route and official partners for Canada Celebrates, a special programme that will take the excitement of the FIFA World Cup 2026 to communities across Canada.
The tour will visit 38 stops in 34 communities, helping fans experience the atmosphere of the tournament even outside the host cities of Toronto and Vancouver.
Canada Celebrates will include live match screenings, football activities, cultural events, music and food, giving supporters a chance to enjoy the spirit of the World Cup together. The programme will run during the tournament from 11 June to 19 July, with additional events on 1 June and 5 June, as well as activities linked to the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour.
The events are planned so that more than 75% of Canadians can attend a stop within a two-hour drive. Locations will stretch from Whitehorse to Halifax, including places such as Kamloops and Niagara Falls.
FIFA Vice-President Vittorio Montagliani said the project will allow communities across the country to feel part of the World Cup and help grow football for future generations.
Canada’s Secretary of State for Sport, Adam van Koeverden, said sport has the power to bring people together and that the tour will help Canadians share in this historic event.
The Government of Canada is supporting the initiative together with several partners.
Official partners involved in the tour include Coca-Cola, Kia, Michelob Ultra, Hisense, McDonald’s, The Home Depot, and media partner Bell Media.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be the biggest edition of the tournament, with 48 teams and 104 matches, hosted across Canada, the United States and Mexico. The competition will take place from 11 June to 19 July 2026 and is expected to attract fans from all over the world.
