Malta’s Under-15 and Under-23 teams began their 2025 Nations Cup journey in Bridlington with a busy schedule and mixed results.
The Under-15 doubles saw Malta shine, with Denzel Falzon and Nick Muscat beating the English pair Lukas Williams and Olly Watson 3-0. Meanwhile, Jake Castaldi and Dielyn Edward secured a 3-1 win over Jude Halfpenny and Rory Rees.
The U15 team also recorded an impressive 11-4 win over England A and a solid 10-5 victory against Wales. Earlier, however, they had suffered a 9-6 loss to Northern Ireland and were narrowly beaten 8-7 by Scotland.
The Under-23 side had a tougher start, falling to three close defeats — 14-11 against Scotland B1, 15-10 to Scotland A, and 13-12 to Scotland B.

- 10:30 – Under-15: Northern Ireland A vs Malta
- 14:00 – Under-15: Malta vs England A
- 19:00 – Under-15: Scotland A vs Malta
