Malta enjoyed a remarkable weekend at the European Blackball Championship in Ennis, with several teams and players achieving outstanding results.
The U15 and Seniors teams both claimed gold medals, while Maltese player Maverick Zammit also triumphed in the singles final.
The Malta U15 team achieved a historic win by claiming the gold medal at the European Blackball Championship in Ennis, following a determined and mature performance that saw them beat Northern Ireland 8-4.
The Seniors team also won the gold medal, dominating England 13-1 in the final. On the other hand, the Men’s A team were defeated by England 13-8.
Maverick Zammit became European champion in the singles final after beating Anthony Monarch 7-5.
