Ħamrun 147 A continued to hold the first place in the national Blackball championship table after dominating the match they had against Domus Kids Żejtun 11-0. This was the eleventh win of the season for the Ħamrun side to keep the one point advantage over their closest rivals Cospicua Rangers who beat Selmun Sports Club A 11-3. There were identical victories of 11-5 by Hamrun 147 C and Jojo’s Birżebbuġa who beat San Ġwann Boċċi and Hamrun 147 B respectively.
Qormi Pinto won the direct clash against Qormi Anici Boys 11-9 to leapfrog them in the table.
San Gwann Tiki Taka A strengthened the third place in the table after an 11-8 victory against Qormi Anici Lions. The second team of San Gwann Tiki Taka also won against Cospicua Rangers B 11-4. On the other hand, Qormi Anici Stars beat Birkirkara Juve 11-6.
In section A of the Community League, leaders PL Balzan had an 11-5 victory against Attard Scorpions. San Gwann Tiki Taka C are on second place after beating Selmun Sports Club B 11-3. At the same time there was absolute balance in the matches between PL Floriana and Qormi Anici Cappadocia and Siġġiewi Montekristo against Zebbuġ St Joseph with the final result being that of 10-10.
In section B of the Community League Qormi Anici Calleja Ltd continued with their positive moment after an 11-7 victory against Mrieħel Billiard House.
Valletta Fossa Boys beat Qormi San Bastjan Boċċi 11-8 while Selmun Sports Club C and San Ġwann Tiki Taka D ended in a 10-10 draw.
