Veteran table tennis player David Pace was involved in the Veterans’ Coppa Italia held in Calascibetta in Sicily. He was representing ASD Virtus Enna where he took part in the individual and even doubles competition with his colleague Giuseppe Tiritto.
Pace had a great day winning three of the four matches he played. In fact, in the inaugural game against SPD Pietrapersia 88, David Pace won against Di Calogero 3-0 while in the doubles together with Tiritto they defeated duo Tomaselli/Marzella with the same score.
In the second game against ASD Mediterraneo, Pace beat Bassaro 3-1 while in the doubles he won with a similar result against Poma/Rossi.
It was in the third game that Pace and his team suffered their first defeat, 3-1 against ASD Rosselli. They closed in the best way possible when they won 3-0 against the host team of ASD Calascibetta.
David Pace plays with ASD Virtus Enna which along with other teams such as ASD TT Mediterraneo, ASD TT Calascibetta A, ASD Tennis Tavolo Caltanisetta, ASD TT Mediterraneo Rosa, ASD TT Ribera and SPD Pietraperzia 88 took part in this tournament which it will now continue at the beginning of March in Trapani.
