La Playa de Arena and Ħamrun sit at the top of the National Beach Soccer Championship after winning their first two matches.
Reigning champions Ħamrun defeated WA Agency FC 7–1, although they had a much tougher time overcoming ESS Santa Margherita AFC, narrowly winning 3–2.
On the other hand, La Playa de Arena, who are expected to be title contenders, secured two victories: 6–4 against WA Agency FC and 7–2 against ESS Santa Margherita AFC.
This coming weekend, Sliema Beach Soccer will make their debut as they face ESS Santa Margherita.
