The 2025 edition of the water polo ASA Malta Centenary Cup continues this week with a packed schedule of matches across three competitions: the Meridianbet Cup, President’s Cup, and Premier Promotion. Match Day 2 promises high-stakes encounters and exciting waterpolo action at the National Pool Complex in Tal-Qroqq.
Tuesday, 17 June – Meridianbet Cup & President’s Cup
The evening kicks off with Otters Nivea taking on Ta’ Xbiex Amigos at 18:15 in a Meridianbet Cup showdown. Both teams will be looking to build early momentum in the tournament.
At 19:30, Barracudas face Marsaskala Optima Projects, in what is expected to be a competitive Meridianbet Cup fixture.
Later at 20:45, Sirens Build Fitness go head-to-head with Sliema Frank Salt Real Estate in a President’s Cup clash. Sliema, one of the historic names in Maltese waterpolo, will aim to impose their experience, while Sirens seek to make a strong statement.
Wednesday, 18 June – Premier Promotion & President’s Cup
The following day sees Premier Promotion fixtures take center stage. At 18:15, Marsaxlokk MFF Ltd meet Birżebbuġa in an all-southern derby that promises plenty of intensity.
At 19:30, Exiles Welbee’s will challenge Valletta Peak Insurance Brokers, with both sides aiming to secure crucial points in the promotion race.
