The Italian Euroleague team, Olimpia Milano, has signed the American defender, Trey Kell, until the end of the 2021/22 season, the club announced on social networks.
Olimpia was looking for reinforcements in the back positions, considering that they had big problems with injuries. The last one was hit by a severe injury of Shavon Shields. Although it was reported in the media, it was denied that the club was trying to sign the player from Breogan – Dzanan Musa.
Trey Kell will move to Milan and compete in the Euroleague for the first time in his career. He had a great start to the season in Italy with Varese.
In ten matches, he averages 15.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.1 assists while shooting 40% for three points.
His first stop was the ABA League, more precisely Igokea, where he stayed for a little over a month. After Igokea, he signed for the Canadian team Moncton Magic.
The next stop for Kell was Hong Kong, after which he moved to the Island where he had a season of life.
He spent four years at San Diego State University, and in 2018 he was not selected in the NBA Draft.
