Former CSKA Moscow basketball player and Russian national team player Alexey Shved has a new club.
The thirty-four-year-old Russian will sign a contract with an unnamed club in China, confirmed Shved’s manager, Obrad Fimić.
“New country, new championship. Many famous players play in China, and there is a rather short season that ends at the end of February, beginning of March. After that, you can rest or sign a contract for the playoffs in one of the European championships. So China is a good option from all sides,” he told Russian media.
The experienced defender wore the shirt of CSKA for the previous three seasons, and before that he was the holder of Khimki for many years.
