Oklahoma manager on Micic: He is such an accomplished player, we wanted him right away

Sam Presti, general manager of the Oklahoma City Thunder, spoke about the potential arrival of Vasilij Micic in the ranks of this NBA franchise.

The Serbian basketball player seems to have never been closer to leaving “across the pond”.

After three successful European seasons, it seems the ideal time for new challenges.

During his tenure with Anadolu Efes, Micic won two consecutive Euroleague titles, twice as the MVP of the final of this competition, once the MVP of the regular season, and the top scorer of the elite European competition.

It seems that these successes were enough for Oklahoma to place their trust in him and include him in their ranks.

“I think it’s the same situation every year. I don’t have anything specific to tell you. He was here, which is great. We immediately wanted him in our squad, but he is an accomplished player. He always plays tournaments, plays for his national team, and plays until the end of the summer. We know him very well and he has a great relationship with our organization, it was great to see him, but I can’t tell you right now what his visit means,” said Sam Presti.
