Hibernians Tederick Wolfe is on a positive streak winning the BOV Basketball Player of the Month award two months in a row. The swingman from Jackson Arizona continued to impress in his three outings during February, contributing to three wins with Hibs ending the regular season in the top spot of the BOV Basketball League standings. Wolfe had 46 points from his team’s 91-82 win against Depiro, scoring 99 points in 3 games during the month.
Depiro’s Rwandan/American Janai Crooms also won her second award of the season, following her individual award in November. Crooms was her team’s top scorer in Hibs three games during February where she scored a total of 70 points and helped her team remain top of the league.
Depiro Hoops’ Matthew Sammut rounded up the BOV Individual awards for February winning the prize for the BOV Amateur League. The 6’2” centre is a dominant rebounder showcasing his ability to outmaneuver opponents and secure vital possessions for his team securing 53 rebounds in his 4 matches during February while also scoring 69 points in the process.
