Jokić: I'm happy for Dozier, I think it's a good environment for him!

MVP of the final series of the NBA League, Nikola Jokić, returned to the “scene of the crime”. The Serbian center traveled to the United States of America and joined the team in preparation for the new season.

The popular “Media day” is currently being held in Colorado, and the Serb, as usual, was the main target of the journalists present.

The media representatives were first interested in Jokić’s conversation with Partizan’s newcomer PJ Dowzer.

“I heard some rumors and I called him to see if it was true. He confirmed it to me in a message. I’m happy for him. I think it’s a good environment for him because it’s great to play in any of those teams. The atmosphere is fantastic and it is a unique opportunity to play in front of so many fans”.

When it comes to ambitions, Jokić has no dilemma – defending the title.

“Let’s win as many games as possible, have fun and, if possible, defend the title.” Why not”, said the Serbian center briefly.

Bruce Brown, one of the team’s leaders from the previous competitive year, left the Nuggets and joined Indiana.

“It is natural and must happen. We have players who can replace him, those who played less last year will now have more space. I think we’ll be fine. Of course we’re mad at him. We won’t talk to him, and maybe we won’t even give him a ring”, said Jokić in a joking manner.
