The Galatasaray basketball players celebrated over the Efes team with a score of 105 : 70 in the first game of the semifinals of the playoffs for the Turkish championship. For all of Galatasaray’s dominance, none of that would be strange if the Efes team had not become European champions for the second time in a row six days ago in Belgrade.
At one point in the match, Galatasaray took the lead with a difference of 39 points, and the key period of this match was the third quarter, when the winning team created a great advantage.
The most efficient player on the winning team was Dee Bost, with 22 points, followed by Isaiah Canaan, who finished the match with 15 points.
At Efes, Egemen Guven proved to be the best with 15 points, followed by Place with 11 and Singleton with 10 points.
The second game of this semifinal series will be played on Sunday.
