Slovenian basketball player Luka Dončić spoke about the shock he experienced after a sleepless night in Okinawa due to the launch of a North Korean missile.

The teams, based in Okinawa, Japan, were awakened at 4 a.m. by an emergency evacuation alert caused by a missile launch from North Korea.

This launch immediately prompted the city’s residents to seek shelter. About 20 minutes later, the Japanese government announced that the missile had cleared the area, lifting the emergency alert.

“Everything is great except that I couldn’t fall asleep after the alarm, that’s something crazy. I just saw the projectile coming, so I got a little scared,” said Dončić, worried.
