An experienced Greek expert, Dimitris Itoudis, is the new selector of Greece, the Basketball Federation confirmed.
He will succeed Rick Pitino.
“Thanks to President Andrey Vatutin and CSKA, who gave me the green light to work as the selector of my country. It is a great honor for me. “I know what the expectations are and how the Greeks view basketball,” said the Greek expert.
Dimitris will lead the Greeks at the European Championship, which will be played in September.
Greece will play in a group with Great Britain, Italy, Ukraine, Croatia and Estonia.
