Zenit convincingly defeated Efes in Turkey, within the eighth round of the Euroleague.
The guests celebrated the victory with the result 90:79.
Zenit led throughout the entire game, and at the beginning of the last quarter, they successfully repelled the attack of the guests, and reached a well-deserved victory.
This was the sixth defeat of the season for the current European basketball champion, and the defense of last year’s Euroleague Champions seems almost impossible.
The most efficient in the victory of the guests was Conner Frankamp with 18 points, Kuzminskas added 15, while Beron and Miki added 10 points each.
Efes was led by Larkin with 14 points, Pleiss added 13, Bobua 11, and Moerman and Bryant added 10 points each.

On the other hand, Zenit continues with fantastic games in the season, and they came to the fifth victory from eight matches played.
In the next round of the Euroleague, Efes will host Alba, while Zenit will welcome Olympiacos.
