Lija Athletic and Fgura Utd fail to make it for the Top 6

Top 6 challenging for promotion will be Żabbar, Melita, Senglea, Marsa, Pieta’ and Żurrieq

Żabbar, Melita, Senglea, Marsa, Pieta’ and Żurrieq will be all eying for promotion to the Premier League next season as they all made the cut for the final Top 6.

The below are the results from Matchday 15 which was played yesterday with 5 simultaneous games player at 19:30hrs in five different stadia.

Żabbar St. Patrick vs Tarxien Rainbows 1 – 1

Now the clubs classified in the first six places shall play against each other on a Double Round Robin basis known as Top Six.

The clubs classified between the seventh and sixteenth place shall play against each other on a Single Round Robin basis known as Play-Out Round.

At the end of the Second Phase, the Club placed in the first place of the Top Six shall be declared the Champion of the Challenge League, and shall be promoted to the Premier League.

The Club classified second in the Top Six shall be declared the Runner-Up of the Challenge League, and shall be promoted also to the Premier League whilst the Clubs placed in the bottom four places in the Play-Out Round shall be relegated to the following season’s National Amateur League.
