Hibernians guard Deonte Jackson, born in 2001 and a 2025 graduate of LeTourneau University, has been named the BOV 1st Division Player of the Month for January following a series of exceptional performances that showcased his leadership, scoring ability, and all-round influence on the court. The dynamic 5’9” point guard has been central to Hibernians’ strong form throughout the month, delivering consistent offensive efficiency and making significant contributions on both ends of the floor.
Jackson was particularly remarkable from the free-throw line, converting 18 of 19 attempts, a near-perfect rate that formed part of his 86 total points across three games. His impact extended well beyond scoring, adding 25 rebounds, 22 assists, and 11 steals during January, including an outstanding 40-point performance in Hibernians’ commanding 150–42 victory over Valletta. His versatility, intensity, and ability to elevate the team at crucial moments have made Jackson a deserving recipient of this month’s honour.

Starlites’ American import Georgia Haverlock, a 175 cm guard in her first professional basketball season, has made an immediate impact with her all-round performances. Haverlock recorded 93 points across four games, including an impressive 27-point outing in Starlites’ commanding 83–48 victory over Athleta. Beyond her scoring ability, she has been a dominant presence under the boards, collecting 50 rebounds over the same stretch while also contributing 15 assists and 6 steals. Her strength, versatility, and intensity on both ends of the floor have quickly established her as a key figure in the team’s lineup.

Luxol’s Blue’s Cinar Cog won BOV Basketball Player of the Month for the Amateur League. Hailing from Turkey, Cog delivered an impressive 59 points over 4 games, averaging 14.75 points per game, while also contributing 6.75 rebounds and 1.25 assists per match. His efficiency inside the arc, with 25 made two-pointers on 64% shooting and his consistent impact over nearly 93 minutes of play made him a driving force for his team.
